How long is each interview
That is a very difficult question because often in the middle of an interview something like a tannoy will go off with a message or someone will walk in front of the company but generally we find that we need to spend about 15 minutes filming the stand, the products and interviewing the person in charge to get between 2 - 5 minutes of broadcast quality footage which is the length we usually recommend to broadcast. ( We officially limit the length of the clip to 4 minutes but we don't look that closely at an extra minute and have no objection to two clips from the same company following each other.

Is Attend.tv a free service?
Yes & No,  Any professional Company will be aware that to have a corporate video made costs thousands with no guarantee that it will be seen. Attend.tv won't send a production crew, interview your person in charge, film your products and edit the footage for free but we will put you in contact with production specialists who are accredited by us and who charge reasonable rates to do that

What we will do is give you technical help so that we receive your clip/infomercial, take the time to inspect it, evaluate it for suitability and allocate it to a channel. We will handle all the legal elements such as consent and release forms for you, ensure that all performing rights laws have been adhered to  and our legal experts will check the content to ensure that no laws are being breached. Then we will upload it it to that channel and ensure that it appears correctly in the right place, in the right order, send you the code to embed on your website, and remove it for you after 12 months  or we will remove it earlier if you wish. For all this we charge a fee of £50 + vat , ( 55 Euros or  $85). U tub will let you do all that for free if you wish to be included with all the teenage prank clips and animal trick footage. Our clips also have no YouTube logo on them.

After your clip has been evaluated by us or one of our authorised Resellers or agents  Attend TV will then broadcast your clip for one year free of charge or until you ask us to remove it, allow your clients to access it on demand from any part of the globe at any time of the day or night.

What can be uploaded?
Any single clip can be uploaded, or several linked together to create a programme. A programme can be left “open” so that others can contribute videos to it or made “private” so that only you can add content to the programme over a period of time. Using the programme facility also enables you to choose the sequence in which the clips are played. This is far superior to simple tags. Sexy is good but please do not ask us to upload clips with indecent content -they will be swiftly deleted which just wastes everybody’s time! (if in doubt what indecent means email us)

Can any format be uploaded?
No, only Flash uploads will work, but this is not a problem. Use the converter on the site. Please note that for best results a “wide screen” format should be used when taking your clip. However other formats will play on the site in a reduced width player. For the technically minded amongst you: The ideal specification for your flash upload is as follows: Format FLV: Parameters: video frame rate = 25, video bitrate = 360, video size = 16:9, deinterlace = true, audio channels = 2, audio bitrate = 56, audio sampling rate =22050.

Can a clip be added to more than one programme?
No, This results in viewers thinking they have a new programme to watch and seeing a repeat of an earlier item. In any event our advanced search facilities will ensure each item can be easily located. Having said that, if it really is appropriate to repeat a clip, you could always give the clip a new name and upload it again!

Who owns the footage?
You retain all of your ownership rights to the production. However, you  grant Attend.TV a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User Submissions in connection with the Attend.TV Website and Attend.TV's (and its successor's) business, including without limitation for promoting and redistributing part or all of the Attend.TV Website (and derivative works thereof) in any media formats and through any media channels. Phew!! You also grant each user of the Attend.TV Website a non-exclusive license to access your user Submissions through the Website, and to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display and perform such user Submissions as permitted through the functionality of the Website and under the Terms of Service.  Nearly done !!! The foregoing license granted by you terminates once you remove or delete a user Submission from the Attend.TV Website.

This film is yours and you can use it in any way you like. It is your extremely valuable property. You will own the copyright to all footage and  If you have a number of clips, we can, at no charge, create a dedicated television channel for you within Attend.TV. This channel can be branded with your logo and host footage from all your products , services or events.

Can My footage which is hosted on Attend.tv be downloaded or only watched as a streaming file on attend?
Realplayer 11 or SP & most other media players on your PC or laptop will enable you to play nearly all the content you download from us. Once you have this on your PC you will be able to download any file you choose or upload to any other site, even to your own website.

Can clips from Attend.TV be added to my own website?
Sure, when viewing a file you will notice the URL of the clip and a Code Box from which you can copy and paste into your own site. You can do this with a single item or a complete programme of items.

Can I see Attend TV on Satellite/Astra/Sky?
Yes/No, At certain times we collect a group of our best interviewees together to put together a programme which can be broadcast into every house in the country via satellite. Unfortunately at the time of production we can't say which will be used.

What are i-reporters
i-reporters are our eyes and ears in their local area whether it be Birmingham, Bombay, Beijing, Brisbane or Baltimore. We rely upon them to bring us the "action" in their local area, to inform us what events people attend there. We support them with years of experience and by being their critical friend. i-reporters are part of mini journalistic teams. These teams are made up of a presenter, a videographer/editor and a researcher to find which companies to interview. Every i-reporter team has a team leader but an i-reporter can therefore be any one of the team components who either organises the other components themselves or who we put together with other team members. They must however be able to work in a smart, confident,  entrepreneurial manner , on their own initiative and organise their own teams as they work in all global locations and time zones.They must be able to use their own initiative to convince individuals with massive egos to not only take them seriously but also spend time and resources during their busy day to be interviewed . In that vein Our presenters are not just attractive  speakers. They have to be entrepreneurial, management individuals with a large portion of common sense who have the ability to organise. Every week we receive many applications and we accredit on average only 10% of applicants

We currently seek i-reporters in all continents and in many cities, the demand for our service is growing and we regularly need young dynamic, fun, sexy and professional freelance i-reporter  production teams to work with us. Irrespective of your past experience you will be asked to send us a current clip of you speaking to a camera. We will then either accredit you as an experienced i-reporter of as a trainee and enter you into our media training programme at no cost to yourself.
